I have been practicing law in Newburgh, New York for over 24 years. My office is located on the outskirts of the City of Newburgh. I have served the legal needs of the community since 1983. I am admitted to practice in all Courts of the State of New York, and in the Federal Court system and the United States Supreme Court.

My practice centers on personal service. When you telephone my office, you will either talk to me, my legal assistant Tammy Brown, or my secretary Shirley. Your call will not be directed to a person who is unfamiliar with your situation. My clients take comfort in the knowledge that I am there when they need me and even when I am unavailable due to other obligations, that my staff knows of their situation and how to find me immediately in case of an emergency.

Before someone comes to my office for an appointment, I make it a practice of speaking to them personally so that I may evaluate their situation and direct them to gather any necessary information before their first appointment.

The hallmark of my practice of law has been to give people straight answers to their questions. When a legal issue is clear, I will tell you so. When the legal issues are unclear, I will tell you why. You may expect me to return your telephone calls promptly and to devote the amount of time necessary to resolve your situation.

I have represented hundreds of people in personal bankruptcies and am fully familiar with the procedures in the local court as well as the trustees that administer cases. Although the law has changed radically, most people are still eligible to file.

I have handled many situations concerning child custody, visitation and relocations, as well as Grandparents’ rights. I am quite familiar with the local Family Court Judges and Support Magistrates as well as the Court personnel.
